Drew has spent his entire career in the financial sector. Joining HSBC in 1988 he later progressed to Bristol & West where he became a financial adviser in 1997. After a few years as a tied agent he wanted to expand his knowledge of the financial market by becoming an independent adviser. Following experience with several Clifton-based financial consultancies, he co-founded Crystal Wealth Management in 2003.
Drew advises private and corporate clients on the full spectrum of financial planning, modelling the cashflow they want and heling them see how they can retire comfortably.
Drew specialises in advising business owners and directors on business protection, group pensions and self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs), employee benefits packages and succession/retirement planning.
His main aims are to educate his clients, creating the best tax efficiency for them that brings them peace of mind.
He is a keen golfer and loves spending his time socialising with his family and friends.
Christopher moved into financial services after 12 years specialising in personal and corporate taxation matters.
He joined HMRC in 1977 and later switched to major accountancy firms specialising in the personal taxation arena. He worked for accountants Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst and Young). He then switched to financial services in 1988, joining the multi-national independent advice firm, Noble Lowndes part of the Hill Samuel Group.
He co-founded Crystal Wealth Management in 2003 and now specialises in long term family tax planning, working with the different generations to ensure that the burden of Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax is kept to a minimum, maximising the returns from investments.
He brings his values of honesty and integrity, together with his high level of professional qualifications and 40 years’ experience to translate ‘tax speak’ into plain English, assisting his clients with both their short and long term financial objectives.
In his spare time, he loves playing golf, travelling and has recently started to follow motor sports.
Andy’s career in Financial Services began in 1991 with Prudential, where he specialised in pension planning with Teachers & Lecturers. From there he progressed and broadened his experience by working for several Financial Advice divisions within the major banks, as both an Adviser and Senior Manager. Additionally, he has gained International Advisory experience having lived in Jersey for 5 years, from where he covered the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Cyprus, alongside Managing and developing a Team of International Investment and Corporate Advisers.
Andy is qualified as a Chartered Wealth Manager and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He is a firm believer in being able to provide Independent Financial Advice to his clients.
Andy is an ardent believer that by developing long term financial relationships coupled with a detailed understanding of his client’s financial position, objectives & goals, always delivers the best financial outcome for them. Andrew is the son of co-founder John Morrison. He joined the company after completing his law degree and having previously enjoyed a successful career in the oil and gas industry, working across several regions of the world.
After joining Crystal Wealth in 2016, Andrew gained his professional qualifications to enable him to help clients understand and achieve their financial planning objectives. He enjoys working with individuals and small businesses to build trusted relationships for the long term.
Andrew is Bristol born and bred and lives in the city with his wife Sarah and sons Henry and Kit. He is a keen rugby player and is currently Club Captain of Ashley Down Old Boys RFC and helps to coach the Ladies 1XV. When he is not on the rugby field, Andrew plays golf and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Nick started working in the Financial Services industry in 2004 for Clerical Medical, three year later he attained his Certificate in Financial Planning and then the Diploma in Personal Financial Services (Dip PFS) in 2011.
He continued his career with Scottish Widows supporting Independent Financial Advisers with his technical knowledge of pensions and investments. Nick joined the Crystal Wealth Management team in 2019 to focus on helping his clients build and maintain their wealth and brings a significant level of experience to the team.
Nick is passionate about helping his clients fully understand their financial planning needs and then presents the most appropriate solution(s) for them, This gives clients peace of mind that their financial objectives are taken care of.
A family man, he keeps physically active and has a great love of sport. Nick has captained his local rugby club and now takes his son to his own matches. He also has a strong sense of community – playing his part, together with local villagers, by investing money to save the local pub from closure.
You can trace Peter’s financial services experience back to 1980. During his early career he worked for, and absorbed the trustworthy knowledge and values of, National Westminster Insurance Services, MGM Assurance (Britain’s longest-registered company) and Jelf IFM Financial Planning. Starting off advising individual policy-holders, he progressed to managing and mentoring financial advisers.
He specialises in investments, with a particular interest in pension funds. He also takes pride in his life assurance and inheritance tax planning advice, and works with a trusted network of solicitors and accountants to offer his clients a holistic financial approach. Darren became interested in banking and finance in his late teens, at first deciding to run his own agency within the Co-operative Insurance, which he grew for 13 years. Seeking to broaden his horizons, he became an IFA in 2000, later graduating with the full suite of Financial Planning diplomas.
He says he “gets a buzz” from helping people to achieve their financial goals, specialising in maximising their pensions and investments, and their life assurance as a security. He primarily advises private individuals and company directors, offering regular reviews to ensure his clients stay financially healthy and on track.
A family man with traditional values, Darren is a hands-on dad and grandad. Not quite so traditionally, he took up learning to play the electric guitar … at age 50.
Hugh’s career in financial services began in 2001 as a para-planner, which is a qualified, knowledgeable resource who supports advisers in portfolio planning for clients. Having progressed through the ranks of mortgage adviser and business owner, in February 2019 Hugh joined the Crystal Wealth Management team.
He brings with him robust experience to offer to business and private clients, in investments, business protection, wills, trusts, tax and estate planning. In particular, he specialises in pension planning. This has evolved from his early interest in psychology and philosophy (he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science) and a genuine desire to help people to define their values, shape their attitude to risk and realise their retirement aspirations. His experience as a business owner adds to his understanding of the particular opportunities for commercial clients’ pension planning.
A family man with two young children, Hugh enjoys cooking, all genres of music and has a passion for cars.
