Non-Advising Directors

Below are brief profiles on each of our non-advising Directors…

John Morrison DipFA

Since co-founding Crystal Wealth Management in 2003, John has helped countless individuals and organisation work towards their financial goals – specialising in medium and long-term planning for private individuals. With honesty, integrity and clarity representing his core values, he takes a lot of pride in the number of people he has helped plan for a comfortable retirement.

He has retired from financial advice himself but remains part of our company as a director. Our advisors are lucky to have him as a resource in a mentorship role, which he offers in between well-deserved games of golf!

Haydn Vaulters DipPFS

Haydn is steeped in financial services and has acquired a broad knowledge base. His career has progressed from bank assistant with NatWest, on through branch manager for a finance house and on to financial adviser – firstly as a tied agent and, since 1991, as an independent adviser. He co-founded Crystal Wealth Management in 2003.

He advises across the range of financial planning and investments, with a particular specialism in pensions. He attained the ‘G60’ higher qualification in pensions which additionally gives him a deep understanding of historic pension arrangements. He enjoys working closely with individuals, families and businesses, helping them to stay financially well organised and to achieve their financial and lifestyle objectives.

Haydn lives in Yate, north Bristol, where he established a second office for Crystal Wealth. His wife, Siân, manages the day-to-day accounting within the firm and they have one son, Liam.

David Birkett BSc DipFA

David has worked in financial services since 1988, becoming independent 10 years later. Specialising in protection, pensions and investments, David works closely with his clients, helping them to gain and retain financial peace of mind and to maximise their options. His ongoing pensions advice enables clients to have more informed choices for their retirement. He co-founded Crystal Wealth Management in 2003.

Meanwhile, he likes to offer a holistic approach to financial planning advice through his close associations with accountancy and legal professionals.

When not advising clients David maintains a keen interest in aviation and sports cars (he is a graduate in Aeronautical Engineering). He also takes rather more sedate pleasure in his touring caravan, which he, his wife and their dog use to explore the English countryside.
